Bio

Phil Ehret is a social psychology Ph.D. candidate at UCSB, and his research focuses on motivators and barriers individuals face when deciding whether or not to engage in pro-environmental behaviors and the related policy implications of these behaviors. Often his research includes laboratory and real-world social interventions that leverage the self and social identities to increase pro-environmental behaviors. Phil received his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Southern California.
